I have been looking for an everyday lip gloss for so. long. I have finally found it! The Maybelline Coloursensational Elixir Lip in Blush Essence 705 is the makeup bag essential I never realised I needed until now. The lipgloss is not only super pigmented, it’s moisturising which is a must for us dry skinned gals, it’s soft and not sticky and it also has a really pleasant, sweet smell. A really fake, plastic smell in lipgloss really puts me off, along with feeling like you’re wearing glue on your lips, so this gloss is absolutely perfect in my eyes. With a doe foot applicator, the lipgloss is so easy to apply, even without a mirror!
Blush Essence is the perfect pink shade. I’m quite pale and so some pinks can look a little garish or too deep, but this is the ideal neutral shade with slight colour. The Coloursensational Elixir lasts a fairly long time, without drying out your lips and it fades evenly. Without eating or drinking, I got around two to three hours or wear which is pretty good for a lipgloss.

Maybelline have been killing it recently and are maybe my favourite makeup brand of the moment, especially with their Lash Sensational Mascara too. On my next trip into town I’ll definitely be heading into Boots to pick up some more glosses, especially as they’re only £6.99 (!!). so expect more reviews and swatches.
