Last month I subscribed to one of the most popular boxes at this moment in time, My Little Box. With signing up so late in January, I received two boxes within a couple of weeks which I am very happy about, of course. You can read all about January’s box here. So if you’re not sure how My Little Box works, each month they release a themed box. For example, last month’s was My Little Energy Box, and this month’s theme is the My Little Frenchie Box, in collaboration with famous Frech model and designer Ines De La Fressange. Despite all the items not being obviously French themed, my observation are that each of the items are a French girls essential.
Complexion Enhancer (RRP £9.50) Made with Apricot Kernel Oil, the My Little Beauty complexion enhancer is a light and slightly tinted cream to help bring your skin back to life. On those days where my skin decides to cooperate and I’m feeling brave and in the mood to not wear makeup, this will be the perfect thing to perk my skin up a little. It also smells lovely and leaves your skin feeling super soft too, added bonus!
Pot of Messages (RRP £6.50) I absolutely love this; it might actually be my favourite item from the Frenchie box! Hiding in this little pot are 28 messages on mini scrolls filled with positive and happy messages. Open them all at once, one every day or one per week. Whatever you decide to do I’m sure each and every one will add a little smile to your face. I can’t wait to read them all!
By Terry Kohl Pencil (RRP £23) This is my first ever product from By Terry, and I’m so excited to try it out. It’s super soft, ultra dark with a slight shimmer and waterproof; what more could you ask for? I wear eyeliner every single day, usually liquid liner but with this new addition to my makeup bag I think I’ll be changing to pencil!
DHC Blotting Paper (RRP £4) With it coming up to warmer months, even us dry skinned gals can get a slight ‘glow’. Beautifully packaged and small enough to fit inside your handbag, makeup bag or desk drawer, you’re ready for a quick touch up at any time of day! I just hope my ‘I can’t open this because it will ruin the cute packaging’ complex doesn’t kick in…
Super Liner Brow Artist Shaper by L’Oreal Paris (£5.49) Big, bold brows are in, and I don’t see that trend disappearing any time soon. With this 3-in-1 eyebrow pencil, I can intensify, discipline and fix my brows in place with the coloured pencil, soft brush and the wax formula. Despite having plenty of brow products, this is my first of this kind so it definitely has a place in my every day makeup bag.
Smartphone Case (RRP £16) How. Cute! I usually just keep my iPhone in a plastic case, but since discovering this canvas pouch I think that will soon be changing. Even if I don’t use this for my phone, it’s the perfect size for tickets, cards and any other small pieces floating around your handbag.
Another amazing My Little Box; I’m so glad I finally decided to subscribe! As with every box, a super cute illustration and the amazing My Little World magazine are included. The illustration is going straight up on my pinboard with last months and My Little World provides some much needed SS15 fashion and beauty inspiration and some very interesting interviews and tutorials. As soon as I finish typing this I’ll be diving right into it!
