So I’m feeling a little late to the bandwagon on this one, but having only signed to My Little Box last month, this is my first taste of the new hit subscription box. My Little Box are a Parisian subscription box company, need I say more? Each month they release a themed box, January’s being the Energy Box which is quite apt for the first month of the year when most of the population create New Year’s resoultions around health, fitness and wellbeing. Some of their previous boxes include the Parissiene box (for which I am kicking myself for not signing up sooner!) and the Cosy Box. Within each box you receive must have beauty products, including one from their in house beauty range My Little Beauty, lifestyle and fashion accessories and their magazine My Little World. You also receive illustrated pieces as well which make for a perfect decorative accessories! Mine went right up on my pinboard as soon as I saw it. Another cool thing about My Little Box, is that they sell all of their beauty and lifestyle products on a seperate website, My Little Corner. Although it currently doesn’t ship to the UK, it’s a lovely website that’s perfect for a browse for a little photography inspiration or to read up a little more on some of their products. I’ve linked them all for you to do just that! So what were this months contents?
My Little Sports Bag (RRP £10) This caught my eye as soon as I opened the box. Made of a thin, easily foldable material, it’s the perfect gym accessory. With a colourful triangle pattern and the quote “Good energy is contagious” printed on it, it’s not only practical but extremely cute too! I won’t lie to you and say I’ll be taking this along to the gym with me, because actually, I don’t go to the gym *holds head in hands*. Despite this it’ll be perfect bag for weekends away, short trips or those times you need to carry a little too much to put all in one bag.
Energizing Face and Body Mist (RRP £7.50) This is a super cute bottle of mist, designed to waken and refresh the skin with vitamin C and aloe vera. I love these kinds of products all year round; in colder months to make the skin look a little brighter, and in warmer months to help you to cool down and feel rejuvenated.
Talika Photo Hydra Day Moisturiser (RRP £43.50) Moisturisers are an integral part of my skincare routine. Being a dry skinned gal it’s super important for me to ensure my skin stays hydrated, and after looking up this moisturiser online I’ve read some great reviews! I hadn’t heard of Talika before receiving it this month, but I’m excited to try it out.
Nails Inc Tate Nail Polish (RRP £11) Nail polish is always a winner for me, especially in red; it’s such a classic shade and looks chic all year round. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Nails Inc polish inside the box because I’m a huge fan and know how lovely they look once applied.
My Little 2015 Calender (RRP £10) Ok, so, sadly enough I think this was the item inside the box that I’m most excited about. I’m a huge stationery
addict lover and this calender is absolutely gorgeous! Filled with the cutest of illustrations, motivational quotes and even mini puzzles like Sudoku, a section for notes, horoscopes and little quiz, it’s not only functional, it’s fun and will look lovely sat on your desk.
The My Little World magazine is a lovely addition too. It contains some stunning photography, recipes, interviews, tutorials, exercises and lots of other features. I’m really pleased with My Little Box so far, and even though this is only my first box I can see me staying subcribed for a very long time! What I love about My Little Box is that you can unsubscribe any time for free, so there’s no contract and it costs £14.95 per month including p&p. Very reasonable if you ask me, especially as the contents of this box add up to over £70! I’m super excited for this month’s box so keep an eye out for a review coming up in the next few weeks.
