After receiving a gift voucher for Look Fantastic, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some bits and pieces for my beauty and skincare collection. I decided to purchase a few highly coveted products from the blogging world that I’d read so many amazing reviews of but hadn’t actually gotten around to trying out yet.
First up, Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer. At £23.50 it’s definitely pretty pricey, which is why I’ve waited so long to actually buy it, but I’ve heard so many great things about it and the fact it’s the UK’s number 1 bronzer, so I couldn’t resist. With it getting closer and closer to Summer and my holiday, I’ve really been trying to up my skincare game. While luckily I don’t have terrible skin, I do get frequent breakouts, and they’re usually bright red and stubborn and last for weeks at a time. I’ve been meaning to try out the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ for a very long time now; I’m not sure why it’s actually taken me so long to do so! This is another product for which I’ve read nothing but positive reviews for, so it’s definitely going to be a welcome addition to my skincare routine and fingers crossed it’s improves my skin!
Nails are next on my “to take care of” list. Some people love collecting nail polish, treating themselves to home manicures and making sure they never forget to push their cuticles back, but that’s just never been me. Though I do get pretty envious when I see people with lucious long nails that are their own and aren’t chipped or broken; it really does pull together a look I think. I’ve decided to try and make more of an effort with my nails, and to try and get them in a better condition which is why I just had to buy a polish from Seche Vite. This clear coat doubles as a base and top coat. Perfect! Lastly, I couldn’t do any online beauty shopping without treating myself to another makeup brush. A new addition to the Real Techniques collection, the Sculpting Brush. I’m trying to brush up (no pun intended… honestly) on my contour and bronzing skills, and the angle of this brush looks like it’s going to be a major help. Teamed with my setting brush with my new fave highlighter by theBalm, I’m pretty excited to see what looks I can work on.
So I’m a little bit very late to the party on most of these products but I thought having a gift voucher was the perfect excuse to finally induldge myself! Do you have any of these blogger’s favourites products?
