Ok so I am very late to this party, but lipglosses generally aren't my thing so I was in no rush to buy these when they were first released. When I saw Tanya Burr's lipglosses on offer on Feel Unique I decided that I may as well try one out. I chose Picnic in the Park, a light glossy pink. I don't usually go for pinks in terms of lip colour but after looking at swatches online and other reviews, I decided that this one was probably one I'd get more wear out of. On first impression, I didn't love it, but after wearing it for a little while it grew on me. For want of a better phrase ... Read the Post...
BEAUTY: theBALM MARY LOU MANIZER HIGHLIGHTER
Highlighters haven't always been a necessary piece of my makeup collection, but as I've got more into contouring and adding definition to my face, I've definitely been buying more of them. Last week I was feeling quite spendy, and after browing the Feel Unique website and finding out that its actually one of the top rated products, I caved and bought theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer. LIFESTYLE: A CATCH UP
So I've been pretty absent from my blog recently and I thought I'd have a little catch up with you all, let you know what's been going on and think about what's going to happen with amyjanealice going forward. While I don't think people should necessarily apologise for taking time out from blogging if they need it, I think it's nice to explain and keep up to date. I finished my second year of university. Completing essays and assignments and revising for my exam took up most of my time over the past several months, so I couldn't spend as much time blogging and doing my hobbies etc. ... FASHION: THREE WAYS TO WEAR
The past few years has seen me accumulating a mass of clothes, but still declaring "I have nothing to wear!" every morning when trying to get ready. I've never really had a particular style, but just picked up whatever took my fancy. This was great until I tried to create more than one look with an item and found it wasn't very versatile and the whole cycle began again. I've been contemplating starting to put together a capsule wardrobe with a number of pieces that can create various looks when put together, so when George got in touch with me asking if I wanted to take part in their ... LIFESTYLE: PRELOVED BLOGGERS EVENT MANCHESTER
This weekend I headed to Ziferblat for the first time for the Preloved Blogger's event in Manchester, hosted by the lovely Terri from Hello, Terri Lowe. I was a little bit nervous but a lot excited, especially with signing up to the event quite last minute due to a space cropping up. I couldn't believe how gorgeous the weather in Manchester was this weekend, and so I donned a very Spring appropriate outfit, which wasn't all black for a change(!), and headed into town. Upon arrival, the staff at Ziferblat told me to make myself at home while I waited for the event to start - I was ... Read the Post...
