My skin can be a nightmare sometimes. It’s mainly dry and dehydrated, and no matter how much water I drink it seems to make no difference. I suppose I could look at the positive side, that my face doesn’t look oily, but sometimes I feel like I would much prefer that as cakey makeup sticking to dry patches is not a good look let me tell you. My skin really can be a huge pain and it does get me down, but I do see a light at the end of the tunnel as I have recently switched up my skincare routine and already I can see improvements.

In the evenings, I take off my eye make up with my trusty Bioderma. I then use my L’Oréal Paris Skin
Perfection Cleansing Oil all over my
face to make sure all the make up is removed. I’m really
loving cleansing balms recently, and at the moment I am using the
Espa Nourishing Cleansing Balm. This is only a sample size that I ordered from the website, but I’m considering buying a full size tub after I use up a few others that I have stored away. I smooth the Espa balm all over my face and then add a little water
and rub it in circles before wetting a washcloth to wipe it all off my face.
After patting my face dry, I use either a serum or facial oil. Currently I’m
using the Body Shop Aloe Protective Serum, part of the Aloe range for sensitive skin. I only recently bought this, and so far it’s looking good! Anything that
gives my face some added moisture is a gem in my books, which is why I really
get on with cleansing balms.
Once I’m tucked into bed and my face is dry, I moisturise. Right now I’m using the Aloe Soothing Night Cream as it’s the perfect partner to the serum. It’s really thick and creamy so I love it! Finally, I apply some lip balm. On my bedside table at the moment is the Aloe Lip Care cream, also part of the Aloe range. I’ve only used this a couple of times but I’m really impressed so far; when I wake up in the morning my lips still feel nice and moisturised.
What do you use in your skincare routine?
I love having a peek into people's skincare routines! Bioderma is a favourite of mine too xx

Me too! Bioderma is great for getting the bulk of your makeup off before having a good cleanse isn't it! x
The Body Shop Skincare line actually looks lovely! I've never used anything from there before face-wise. My skin has become really dry at the minute which has meant my skin is all flaky and I haven't been able to wear foundation.
But then I tried Origins Night a Mins which is an amazzzzinngg night cream! You should definitely try and get a little sample 🙂

Mine was like that recently 🙁 I'll look into it, thanks so much!! xxx
