While browsing though Boots after a lovely meal with my boyfriend last week, I saw that there is currently a 3 for 2 offer on all Rimmel London makeup so of course I had to pick a few things up. I’d been wanting to try some of the new Rita Ora nail polish range by Rimmel, so I bought Lose Your Lingerie, a lovely pale pink-white colour (which I’m sure there will be a review up of pretty soon)! I also bought my trusty liquid eyeliner and to complete the offer I got something I hadn’t really had in mind before seeing it, the Rimmel Stay Blushed Liquid Cheek Tint.
The cheek tint comes in two colours, but I picked up the more peachy of the two, Sunkissed Cherry as I think it will look lovely when I go away to Spain later on this year. I’ve always loved Rimmel makeup and I’ve seen quite a few posts on it, so I decided while there was an offer on I should pick it up.
My first thought on application was that this definitely is not a liquid, as the name suggests; I found it to be a cross between a cream blusher and a mousse. The colour seems quite harsh when you first squeeze it out of the tube, but once applied fully it’s a soft pinky peach colour. It’s super easy to blend, and I like that you have a short while to play about and achieve the desired look before the blush starts to stay put. I’ve used both my fingers and my Real Techniques Stippling Blush to apply it to my cheeks, and found that both methods created a really natural looking colour on my cheeks. The Rimmel Liquid Cheek Tint is really pigmented and you might feel that you’ve applied too much at first, but don’t panic and just blend blend blend. Although the tube is quite small, it will definitely last a few months as you don’t need to use much product at all. I found that half a pea size (such a technical term, eh) is just right for me. It also has amazing staying power! I applied this before a shift at work on a Saturday. and those of you who also work in retail know how busy and tiring it can be. Usually, when I get home after a shift at work, any cheek products I applied in the morning have worn off slightly, but not the Rimmel Stay Blushed Liquid Cheek Tint!
I’m so glad I picked up the Rimmel Stay Blushed Liquid Cheek Tint on a whim, as after only a few uses it has definitely become a firm favourite. I can honestly say that it’s one of the best cream style blushers I’ve ever tried.
I have never tried a liquid cheek tint before but these look really fun! The sunkissed cherry shades looks lovely 🙂

This looks really nice, I am sick of powder blushes at the moment, I feel like after foundation all I apply is powder, so I'll definitely give this a go xx
