I knew it would only be a matter of time until I caved and bought the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask. It wasn’t until I got back off holiday with horrendous skin that I decided it was definitely time to take the plunge. For some reason, when on holiday, my skin seems to take a turn for the worst and I come home with a face full of freckles, blemishes and flaky skin. Applying makeup soon turned into a disaster due to my lumpy (for want of a better word) and dry skin, and there was only one product that came to mind. Naturally, I dashed to my nearest Boots and picked one up as soon as.
The Origins Drink Up Intensive is a mask that you apply as the last step of your night time skincare routine. I use a very small amount, pea sized, and massage it all over my face. It’s soaked up right away and smells gorgeous! Designed for dry and dehydrated skin, it’s the perfect lotion for me. Despite being essentially an intense moisturiser, it doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy at all. After a few uses, I definitely noticed a change in my skin. I could now actually apply makeup without it turning cakey after an hour or so, and my skin also looked a lot healthier and brighter too. Win-win. I also couldn’t stop touching my face; I swear my skin has never been so soft! In the mornings, cleanse as normal and voila, the Drink Up Intensive has done it’s job.
At £23 for 100ml, it may seem a little expensive compared to other masks and moisturisers, though this one is nothing like the rest. It’s the first mask that has actually made a noticeable difference to both the look and feel of my skin, and combined with the other products in my trusty skincare lineup, I’ve never felt better. Plus with only having to use such a small amount two or three times a week, it’s guaranteed to last! In fact, I’m that big a fan of this product, I’m definitely going to have to try out more from Origin’s skincare. Have you tried the Origins Drink Up Intensive?
