I’ve taken part in the Easter Readathon hosted by my lovely pal Kate at Reading Through Infinity for the last two years, and I’m so excited that she is running it again this year! They have really become a milestone for me and my time in the book blogging community. I felt like I’d entered a whole new level of book blogger during the first Readathon and the excitement and happiness I felt when taking part will stick with me.
Anyway, that’s me rambling over. On to the Easter Readathon 2020!

The Rules
You can check out Kate’s post here for all the information but these are the essentials:
- The Readathon runs from Friday 10th to Monday 13th April
- Kate will be hosting reading sprints on Twitter every few hours so make sure to give her a follow
- There is an awesome giveaway for all those taking part this year so make sure to read Kate’s post for all the rules!
The Prompts

Here are all the prompts for this year’s Readathon. I love that Kate says these really are just optional. If you feel like reading something that doesn’t fall under these prompts – no problem!
My TBR

Heartstopper Volume 3 by Alice Oseman
A book that gives you Spring vibes / A book involving family and friends
Doesn’t this cover just scream Spring?! I read Heartstopper Vol. 1 during last year’s Readathon and can’t wait to delve into the third instalment this weekend.
Of Curses and Kisses by Sandhya Menon
A book with a yellow or green cover
Okay so this is more teal but I’m definitely still counting it! I’ve heard some really great things about this take on Beauty and the Beast so I’m excited to get stuck in.
House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas
A book about new beginnings
This is a weird one for me. For the last few SJM releases I’ve booked the day off work and devoured them in 8-12 hours. When this came out I was going through “a time” and just couldn’t bring myself to read anything, let alone a book this size. So, I’m sticking it on my Easter Readathon to hopefully keep me accountable so that I do make a good dent in it!
And there we have it gang, my TBR for the Easter Readathon 2020. Will you be taking part this year? I’d love to know what you plan on reading!

I have just finished The House of Earth and Blood and it was so good! It takes a little while to get going because the world building is so complex but then it will have you hooked ☺️ B x
Good Luck with your TBR! I adored Heartstopper and heard nothing but good things about House of Earth and Blood. Also, thank you for including Sandya Menon’s book here as it’s reminded me to pick up her books once more and finally read them as I adored When Dimple Met Rishi but never picked up the rest!
