WWW Wednesday | 04.11.20

I love reading these kinds of posts on other blogs so I’ve finally decided to take part myself! A weekly meme created by A Daily Rhythm and now hosted by Taking on a World of Words, in WWW Wednesday you answer three questions about your week of reading.

This week saw the start of NaNoWriMo 2020 and I’ve finally decided to get my shit together and start working on the stories that I’ve been daydreaming about for the longest time. While I’m not taking part traditionally, in that I’m not “writing my novel” every day with a word count target, I’m using this month to form the habit of working daily on my WIP. So I have been and will be plotting, planning, working on my characters, researching, learning and yes at some point I will likely be writing!

So, reading has taken a little bit of a back seat this week but let’s check in.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

I finished my last book earlier today so technically not anything, but I plan to continue with the new adult “Forbidden Men” series, and also I kind of started The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

This morning I finished Ruthless King by Meghan March, the first book in an adult alpha-male romance which is currently free for Kindle! It was a recommendation from my pal Imi and I’m so glad I decided to listen to her. It’s a short, smutty read, around 250 pages, which I raced through and really enjoyed. The sequel is £4.99 currently though so I may wait for it go on sale!

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?

So I still haven’t picked up Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas which is what I said last week (oops), so let’s just go with that again shall we?
