It’s time for my January TBR – the first of the year! While sometimes I just have to go with the flow and read what I feel like, most of the time I love the structure that a TBR brings. It means that when I’m uhming and ahhing over to what to read, which would usually lead to a slump, I can head to my TBR and see what I had planned.
There are so many excellent books being published this year. In fact, I wrote about my most anticipated releases here, here and here if you needed any inspiration. I’m going to try and not overwhelm myself creating super long TBR lists but lets see how it goes.
Here is my January TBR!

Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas
Ok so this book has got RAVE REVIEWS everywhere, so why haven’t I picked it up yet? I wish I could tell you. I had this pre-ordered and it sounds perfect so I have no excuse. This month will be the month! This also means I’ll already have ticked one of the books off on my list of those I really need to read this year.

Shipped by Angie Hockman
A hate to love romance where two colleagues are forced on holiday together in competition for a promotion? Sign me up! I love that this sounds like the characters are also going to be super sweet and surprise one another and I can’t wait.

Lore by Alexandra Bracken
I’ve seen a lot of people online absolutely loving this book and I’m definitely intrigued. I haven’t read many Greek mythology retellings but I’m always so interested in them so I have high hopes for this.

A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer
The final book in the Cursebreakers trilogy is finally here! I’ve needed this ever since I put down A Heart So Fierce and Broken last year. I won an ARC of this in the YALC at Home celebrations during the Summer and I’m equal parts nervous and excited to read it.

Mina and the Undead by Amy McCaw
Ever since I heard about this UKYA vampire novel set in 1990s New Orleans I was sold! I very luckily received an advanced copy of this from the publisher and I’ve only heard great things so far, so I can’t wait to pick it up.

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
So I’ve actually read this five times already, but I’ve been re-reading the series in preparation for A Court of Silver Flames in February. I still haven’t found any book that has hit me like this one did and unless you’ve never seen any of my content before you know I love this series (and author!) Need I say more? *heart eyes*
So there we have my January TBR. I think it’s fairly manageable if I do say so myself, especially as many of these are anticipated or favourite reads/series!
I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a great reading month.
What books are you planning to read in January?

Love your TBR and definitely manageable! Mine is about 14 books but a couple of them are due to work! I can’t wait to hear what your think of Cemetery Boys, I started it on ebook and really enjoyed it before I had to stop but hoping to pick it up again when the paperback comes out.
