Since my last WWW Wednesday post I’ve read some great books, including one of my most anticipated reads of the year which ended up being five stars! I’m also currently reading my all time favourite series so things are looking pretty good right now that’s for sure.
I love reading these kinds of posts on other blogs so I’ve finally decided to take part myself! A weekly meme created by A Daily Rhythm and now hosted by Taking on a World of Words, in WWW Wednesday you answer three questions about your week of reading.
So, what I have managed to read this week?

What are you currently reading?
I’m re-reading the ACOTAR series in preparation for the release of A Court of Silver Flames on the 16th February, and am currently part way through A Court of Wings and Ruin. The day this book came out is seared in my brain. The excitement as I stalked the postman waited patiently for it to arrive, and then devoured it in eight hours with maybe one or two breaks. It’s always so good to be back in this world. It really is like a comfort blanket for me. A comfort blanket that breaks and mends my heart over and over and over again…
What did you recently finish reading?
My last read was The (Other) F Word: A Celebration of the Fat and Fierce, which is an own voices anthology of essays, discussions and letters covering a range of different topics from a diverse collection of fat authors. This was such an empowering, uplifting and self affirming read for me, particularly as I listened to the audiobook and the narration was spot on.
Not every fat person’s story is the same, and I loved and appreciated seeing all these different takes from authors who are are trans, non binary, queer, Latinx, Black, Asian, survivors of abuse and sexual assault and more. While I may be fat, I am also a white and cisgender woman, so of course I am still privileged! This is a must read for me. It just kind of felt like something fell into place for me while I listened to this? I would highly recommend but please do take care if this content may be triggering for you in any way.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Continuing with my re-read of the series, my next read will be A Court of Frost and Starlight, which should only take me a couple of hours to get through. After that, I’ll be diving into my F/F Feb TBR until ACOSF lands at my door!
Thanks for reading the latest WWW Wednesday post! What have you been reading this week? I’d love to know.
