Hi everyone, thanks for joining me today as I share 5 YA titles I’m excited for! Now not all of these are new or recent releases admittedly, but they’re new to me in that I haven’t gotten around to reading them yet 👀
Working as a Bookseller means that I’m surrounded by books all day every day, so of course, I’m forever adding to my TBR. There are so many amazing books published every month, so this post could be much longer, but…
Here are 5 YA titles I’m excited for!

She Is a Haunting by Trang Thanh Tran
A few days ago I came across this cover and straight away I knew I HAD to read this book. How chilling is that image?! I do enjoy when a book gives me those creepy vibes and this promises to deliver exactly that. It’s been said that She Is a Haunting is a great book for fans of Mexican Gothic, which I loved, so I have high hopes for this one.
Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute by Talia Hibbert
So I’m cheating a little bit with this one, as I have already read it, BUT I couldn’t not include this title. Talia Hibbert is one of my favourite adult romance authors, so when I heard that she was publishing her debut YA novel, and that it would feature mental health representation, I couldn’t wait to pick it up. And reader, it did not disappoint. I loved this tale of two former best friends being forced to work together on a wilderness course, with characters who are unapologetically themselves. Super cute and entertaining!

The Stolen Heir by Holly Black
Holly Black has been a staple author for me since 2018, when I read The Cruel Prince. Since then I’ve devoured her work, met her and heard her speak several times (she is so ethereal). When I heard we would be returning to Elfhame to follow Oak’s journey, I already knew how much I would love this book.
Mysteries of Thorn Manor by Margaret Rogerson
My first foray into Margaret Rogerson’s beautiful storytelling was with An Enchantment of Ravens, which I fell in love with. Then followed Sorcery of Thorns which was equally as charming, and now we have a short novella sequel following the next adventure of Elisabeth, Nathaniel, and Silas. Margaret’s books always give such cosy vibes, so I can’t wait to get comfy and get swept away by her latest work.

A Ruinous Fate by Kaylie Smith
Gosh this post really is full of gorgeous covers, isn’t it. A Ruinous Fate has popped up on social media a lot for me, and each time I’m like “I have to read this book.” A fantasy romance with lots of action, adventure, an ensemble cast and witches? Sounds perfect for me!

Gosh, just writing this post makes me so excited for the next few months reading these wonderful books. There’s just something about a planned TBR that gives me all the happy vibes.
What are you planning to read next?
