Back in July I was lucky enough to receive a copy of Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo (thank you Penguin, especially Sarah!) and did a little happy dance when I came home and saw the parcel waiting for me to open it. With my dad being a huge comic book fan, I've grown up with Marvel, DC and a whole load of other action films and stories. I've even been dragged to a few meet and greets in my time; meeting Adam West, Dolph Lundgren and (most of) the original A Team cast are my particular claims to fame. Anyway, I've always loved and looked up to Wonder Woman and think that the latest ... Read the Post...

My Favourite Bookish Candles
As I was re-arranging my bookcase for the umpteenth time, I thought "boy, I really do love bookish candles". If anything, I could do with a couple of shelves for my candles alone! I love discovering new bookish candle stores, and seeing what's out there, so I thought I'd put together a little post about my favourites and maybe give you a little inspiration (I apologise to your bank account in advance). First up is a fairly new addition to my shelves: Welcome to Weep by Two Candle Thieves. I read Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor earlier this year and absolutely fell in love. The ... Spoiler Free Review of The Bargainer Series by Laura Thalassa
Join me today for a spoiler free review of review of The Bargainer series by Laura Thalassa. But first... Hello, my name is Amy and I love the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. Though, you probably already knew that if you've read even at least one of my posts, I manage to squeeze it in anywhere. Because I can't get enough of Sarah J. Maas and her books, I'm a member of several Facebook groups relating to them! Whilst browsing the groups one weekend, I came across a post that recommended a book that anyone suffering with an SJM book hangover would love. So, of course, I bought it right ... Read the Post...
MY FAVOURITE BOOKS OF THE YEAR SO FAR: 2017
I can't believe that we're already half way the year already! I know it's such a cliche to say, but this year really has gone so quickly, and so much has changed already. So far this year, I've finished my four year degree at university, I've received my results (I got a First!), I have a new car, I'm looking for my first permanent full time role in Marketing and PR and I'm graduating later this month! Between all this, making the first six months of the year even more awesome, I've read some pretty good books too. Choosing my favourite books of 2017 so far has proven to be a little tricky. ... WHAT I READ THIS MONTH: MAY 2017
This month I finished my undergraduate degree after three years in university and a 12 month placement. Before I could finish though, I had to hand in my last assignments and sit my final exam. So you wouldn't blame me for thinking that I wouldn't get much reading done. Well, 12 books later and it seems that I've proved myself wrong! The first book that I read in May (only just, I finished it on the 1st!) is Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor. I had the pleasure of attending a book signing at Waterstones Liverpool in March where I had my copy of Strange signed, along with the Daughter of ... Read the Post...
