This post contains a gifted item [review copy from Netgalley] Thanks for joining me for another post! Today I'm sharing my spoiler free review of Cream and Punishment by Susannah Nix. We all know how much I love to write a (probably) too long romance review, so here we go again. I do enjoy a second chance romance, can be particularly partial to a friends to lovers storyline and am a glutton for enemies to lovers specifically. So the fact this book contained all three? SOLD. If I'm being honest I hadn't heard of this author before stumbling across this title on a Netgalley search binge ... Read the Post...
My 5 favourite reads of January 2022
Hello and yes, despite the fact that we are now almost now through February, Happy New Year and welcome to my 5 favourite reads of January! 🎉 My last post was back at the end of December, which now seems so long ago, and as we're now three weeks into February I feel that my January wrap up is now slightly overdue. I really did start 2022 with a bang, reading 16 books! My favourite books of the year | 2021
So it's been a while huh? Promise I'm still around, life just got a little in the way of blogging you know? But I'm back, and with one of my favourite kinds of posts to write: my favourite books of the year! Looking back at all of the books I read this year gave me a funny feeling. A lot has changed for me this year and maybe that's why, but it's been so good to look back and revisit these books. I've read more this year than any other, ... Read the Post...
Review of Fireborn by Aisling Fowler
This post contains a gifted item. Working as a children's bookseller means I'm always so excited to find new books to recommend and rave about, so when I had the chance to receive an advanced copy of a new middle grade fantasy I obviously had to jump and take it. I'd heard such great things about this book from friends and on social media so I couldn't wait to pick it up and read it. Keep on reading for my spoiler free review of Fireborn by Aisling Fowler! ... Read the Post...
Review of All the Feels by Olivia Dade
This post contains a gifted item. I'm so happy to be sharing my spoiler free review of All the Feels by Olivia Dade, her latest adult romance release! Last year I was introduced to the wonder that is Olivia Dade's writing, in the form of her novel 40-Love. I fell in love with the story and devoured it in one day, and since then I've been desperate to read more of her work. Luckily, not long after I read 40-Love her next book and first in a new series, Spoiler Alert, was published and (spoiler alert) I loved it. The next in the series, All the Feels, was published just a couple of days ... Read the Post...
