I don't want to speak too soon, but I think June is going to be a pretty good reading month - I've already read four books! I'm off on holiday towards the end of the month but I'll be posting the books I plan to read then in a seperate post, so I'm hoping to get this lovely lot finished by the 26th. A Court of Thorns and Roses & A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas I'd been hearing about ACOTAR all over the blogging world for a while, and it'd been sat on my bookshelf for an embarrasing amount of time. With the release of ACOMAF, which I'd bought the day it came out ... Read the Post...

My 5 favourite reads of January 2022
Hello and yes, despite the fact that we are now almost now through February, Happy New Year and welcome to my 5 favourite reads of January! 🎉 My last post was back at the end of December, which now seems so long ago, and as we're now three weeks into February I feel that my January wrap up is now slightly overdue. I really did start 2022 with a bang, reading 16 books! While I had planned to be a little more mindful with my reads this year, trying to encourage breaks etc, this obviously didn't happen last month but I'm happy, and that's the main thing! So, instead of writing about each ... Read the Post...
My favourite books of the year | 2021
So it's been a while huh? Promise I'm still around, life just got a little in the way of blogging you know? But I'm back, and with one of my favourite kinds of posts to write: my favourite books of the year! Looking back at all of the books I read this year gave me a funny feeling. On one hand, this year has flown by, but at the same time I can't believe I read some of these books this year. It feels like I read them so long ago! A lot has changed for me this year and maybe that's why, but it's been so good to look back and revisit these books. I've read more this year than any other, ... Read the Post...
My thoughts on the exciting A Court of Thorns and Roses TV adaptation
Unless you're new around here (if you are, hey!) then you know about my love for Sarah J. Maas and A Court of Thorns and Roses in particular, so we don't really need to go into that too much again here. But if you do want to fangirl with me then I am HERE for it. If you've been on social media at all in the last 24 hours or are part of the fandom, you'll already know that last night Sarah announced that A Court of Thorns and Roses is being adapted for TV! You can read all the info here, but it was actually leaked ahead of that post by Sarah's husband Josh. Now at first I thought the leak ... Read the Post...
February Wrap Up | 2021
This post contains a gifted item and affiliate links*. Hi pals and welcome to my February wrap up! Despite this being the shortest month, I think I did pretty well if I do say so myself. I managed to read nine books, three of which were audiobooks! I'm super chuffed with that as I've really been missing audiobooks lately but was struggling to commit to them, but look at me go. February saw the release of my most anticipated read of 2021, a book I had been waiting years to finally read, so that was the best. I also discovered some new favourite thrillers, an empowering non fiction and ... Read the Post...
