V.E. Schwab is one of those authors who you only ever seem to read rave reviews of (as far as I know anyway!), so the fact I've only read two of her books - and that was while ago - makes me feel like I'm missing out big time. But, never ending TBR list, amiright? Anyway, this year I planned to read more of Schwab's works and get myself up to date, so when Titan offered to send me a copy of The Near Witch, I couldn't say no*! The Near Witch was Schwab's first novel, originally published in 2011, and has since been long out of print. However this month we see a brand new edition published ... Read the Post...

My Favourite Books of 2018
So I'm only writing this like a month late but hey, I'm doing it anyway! If you want to read about why I've been away from blogging for so long hence why this post is only a tad behind schedule, then check out my latest post here. Regardless of the date, I'm here now with my top rated reads from last year. I read some really awesome books in 2018 and I'm excited to share them with you! I have a couple of rules that I gave myself when compiling this list: I won't include re-reads. We all know by now that I re-read Sarah J. Maas' books and every year they are all in my favourites. Review of Are We All Lemmings & Snowflakes? by Holly Bourne
Time for another review, this time it's of Are We All Lemmings & Snowflakes? by Holly Bourne. A few months ago I received a very exciting email from Usborne inviting me to join the Prime Numbers - a group of Holly fans coming together to spread the kindness alongside her latest novel. I replied with YES (maybe a little more professionally than that if I'm honest) and was immediately excited. FairyLoot Unboxing April 2018: Whimsical Journeys

But now I'm back! I'm really pleased with this month's box, so couldn't wait to take some pictures and talk about it all on here. April's theme was Whimsical Journeys and features some awesome fandoms. Keep on reading to see what was included in the April FairyLoot box. FairyLoot is a “fantasy focused monthly subscription box containing a Young Adult book and some hand selected bookish goodies” as described on ... Read the Post...
Fairy Loot Unboxing January 2018: Talk Faerie To Me
It's time for the first FairyLoot unboxing of 2018, and it was definitely a good one! Opening a brand new box is one of my favourite times every month, but I was particularly looking forward to January's. If you know me at all, or even just follow me on social media, then you'll know I'm a bit lover of all things Fae (particularly the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas). So, when I found out that the January FairyLoot theme was going to be "Talk Faerie to Me", I guess you could say I was a little bit excited. FairyLoot is a “fantasy focused monthly subscription box ... Read the Post...
