When I looked back to the books I read way back at the start, it feels like so long ago, and really it was only five-ish weeks! I read fifteen books in October which I am BEYOND chuffed with. It's one of my best reading months of the year so far! I had a spooky TBR that I 99% stuck with, plus I ended up in a new adult romance hole. Before we move into the October wrap up, I somehow forgot to include three books in last month's, ... Read the Post...
WWW Wednesday | 28.10.20
I love reading these kinds of posts on other blogs so I've finally decided to take part myself! A weekly meme created by A Daily Rhythm and now hosted by Taking on a World of Words, in WWW Wednesday you answer three questions about your week of reading. This week has been a funny one for me. Keep reading for my spoiler free review of Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco, which is released today! ... Read the Post...
Review of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
This post contains a gifted item. All views are my own. So first of all, I'm going to start with an apology. Because I have absolutely no bloody idea how I'm going to write a review of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue that even halfway does it justice, let alone make any sense. This is hands down one of the best books I've ever read. I knew I would love it, being a fan of V. E. Schwab already, but from the story, to the characters, the writing style to the prose, the dialogue to the plot twists, it just... it was everything. Anyway, let's get into my spoiler free (attempted) review of ... Read the Post...
October 2020 TBR: A Season of Spooky Reads!
The nights have been getting darker, the central heating has been switched on and the pumpkin spice candles have been lit. AUTUMN IS HERE and so is my October 2020 TBR! The last few months of the year are my favourite, and given the state of the world right now I'm going to milk it more than usual. So, Halloween is up first! That means binge watching scary films, decorating the house and of course, digging into some spooky reads! I did a similar thing last year and loved it, but that was just for the weekend, so this time it's going to be month long. My lovely pals Lauren and Bec are also ... Read the Post...
