Hi pals, hope you're doing well and thanks for joining me today as I share 5 middle grade books that I can't wait to pick up. Now not all of these are new or recent releases admittedly, but they're new to me in that I haven't gotten around to reading them yet! Working as a Children's Bookseller means that I'm surrounded by books all day every day and honestly, I'm surprised that I haven't spent waaay more more there than I actually have since starting a couple of months ago. Anyway, I am forever picking books off the shelves that I want to read so you'll probably see a lot more of these ... Read the Post...

Review of Fireborn by Aisling Fowler
This post contains a gifted item. Working as a children's bookseller means I'm always so excited to find new books to recommend and rave about, so when I had the chance to receive an advanced copy of a new middle grade fantasy I obviously had to jump and take it. I'd heard such great things about this book from friends and on social media so I couldn't wait to pick it up and read it. Keep on reading for my spoiler free review of Fireborn by Aisling Fowler! ... Read the Post...
August Wrap Up | 2021
Oooh I'm a little bit late with my August wrap up this time, but I'm here! My concept of time lately is all over the place. Like I can't believe it's already September (and nearly my birthday and the Blogosphere Awards!) but when I looked back at the books I read recently to put this post together, I honestly felt like I'd read some of them months ago. What even is time anymore? However what I do know is that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was EPIC. It's definitely one of my favourite Marvel films and I'm already planning when I'm going to see it again. Anyway, in August I ... Read the Post...
March Wrap Up | 2021
Hi pals, and welcome to my March wrap up! So this was a slumpy month for me, sadly. While I'm not doing too badly with my 2021 reading challenge, having reached 21 books, only four of those were read in March. I tried to listen to my brain and understand that it just didn't feel like reading this month, and instead wanted to deep dive into another rewatch of the MCU. Out of the four books I did read, two were middle grade, two were young adult and one of each of those was an audiobook. I really like that variety! Anyway, let's hop into this short but sweet post. Here is my March ... Read the Post...
World Book Day Celebration 2021: Diverse Books for Kids and Teens
Hi pals, time for me to share 3 diverse books for kids and teens. World Book Day was one of my favourite days of the year growing up. That feeling when the book shop set up in the hall and I was let loose on the shelves with some pocket money and book tokens was the best. Reading has been a huge part of my life since being young and World Book Day was just another of the many reasons why. Almost twenty years since I would have first been running around those pop up shelves, parents in tow, today I'm taking part in a huge World Book Day celebration with a bunch of other fab UKYA ...
